Build relationships in a community group

Community groups are a vital part of church life. This small group ministry nurtures our relationships with the Lord and with one another. Family Life Community Groups are small groups that meet in the homes of church members two times every month, typically on weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Groups worship together, pray, discuss books or sermons, and help one another apply God’s Word to everyday life.

Bring the whole family

Our Sunday morning children’s ministry program aims to instruct children so that they grow in their understanding of the gospel and in their love for the Lord. We want our children to know that God is great and holy and that his mercy extends to them through faith in Jesus Christ. We also want to serve parents by providing age-appropriate care and instruction to their children on Sunday mornings. Kids Quest is available for crawling infants through 5th grade.

For your teens

Catalyst is our Parent-Youth Ministry. Once a month, we gather 6th grade through 12th grade and their parents at church for a time of fun, fellowship, and teaching. There are also monthly small groups for youth and social activities, some youth-only, some including parents. The highlight of each year is Youth Camp, usually held in mid-August, where both parents and youth enjoy each other, amazing games and activities, and hear relevant teaching in a beautiful camp setting in Pennsylvania.

Classes and training to help you grow

How do you get to know our church? Besides attending and getting involved with a small group, Join SGC is a six-week course that meets before church on Sunday mornings. Different pastors take turns teaching on the main doctrines and values of our church, with time for Q+A. Childcare is provided.

SGC offers Vital Life throughout the year to help everyone grow in their faith. Topics include classes on parenting, financial stewardship, theology, Church History, and more.

For your Young Adults

Resolved is the young adult ministry (18+) of Sovereign Grace Church. Young adults meet together monthly to study God’s Word together, and weekly in small groups, as well as enjoying both formal and informal times together for fun and friendship.

Serve on a Sunday morning

Sunday services have a lot of moving parts and require many members of the church to serve. Ranging from public platforms to behind the scenes, there are many Sunday Service Teams new folks can join to serve on Sunday mornings.

Help meet the needs of the community and the church

Ministry Teams provide a wonderful way for us to serve alongside others as we meet the needs of the church. While some of the ministries may require a certain skill or gifting, the vast majority of ministry opportunities are open to anyone. You will find people of all backgrounds and stages of life serving together in meaningful ways.
